Wes is the Founder and Managing Principal of Race Pointe, where he partners with brokers, real estate funds, institutional owners, boutique investment firms, and developers to provide seasoned analyst support and serve as a dedicated thought partner across transactions and ongoing initiatives. Since launching the firm, he has supported clients across more than $2.5 billion of retail, office, and industrial properties.

Prior to founding Race Pointe, Wes was with Berkeley Capital Advisors, and based in the firm’s Charlotte, NC office. During his time there, he was involved in over $400 million of multi-tenant retail transactions and analyzed more than $1.5 billion of commercial real estate.

Originally from Asheville, NC, Wes is now based in Dallas, TX. He is a graduate of Texas Christian University, where he earned a BBA in Finance. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, attending live sporting events, and fishing.

Jimmy is an Analyst at Race Pointe, where he is involved across all facets of the firm, including underwriting, transaction support, and ongoing client engagements. Since joining the team, he has supported clients on over 150 retail, office and industrial properties.

Prior to Race Pointe, Jimmy was with High St. Capital, a commercial debt brokerage based in Dallas, TX. During his time there, he played a key role in sourcing over $350 million worth of commercial real estate loans.

Originally from Denver, CO, Jimmy is now based in Dallas, TX. He graduated from Texas Christian University with a BBA in Finance. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Kaplan McMains is an Analyst at Race Pointe, where he is involved in underwriting, lease analysis, and transaction support. He also curates the firm’s weekly newsletter, highlighting key market trends, notable transactions, and broader macroeconomic developments. 

Kaplan holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business and a BBA in Finance from Louisiana State University.

Originally from Baton Rouge, LA, Kaplan now resides in Dallas, TX. Outside the office, he enjoys weightlifting, spending times with friends and family, and following LSU sports.
